We first told you about Rocket Club back in February ahead of their big launch. Well, their first semester was so successful that they are growing due to popular student demand. A quick check-in with the team of Rocket Club made it clear that we needed to show you what these kids were up to!

The first semester was a busy few months for the Rocket Club members. They've built and programmed an autonomous race car, cranes, claws, and Mars Rovers using LEGO Mindstorms EV3 Education Kits.

Their biggest excitement came with the launch of the World’s First Robotic Lemonade Stand. The team built their company by learning hands-on-basics of financial modeling, branding, marketing and operations. The Robotic Lemonade Stand Company was presented at the NJ Tech Council's Venture Conference 2019 at NJ Institute of Technology in Newark, where they gave demonstrations and sold lemonade to Venture Capitalists and Investment Bankers. To prove their determination to do great things, the kids donated ALL of the proceeds to St. Jude's Research Hospital and Kode with Klossy.

The Robotic Lemonade stand has been turning heads, earning these kids recognition and shout outs from Shark Tank's Kevin O'Leary, Barbara Corcoran, Daymond John and the Executive Producer of the Ellen Show, Andy Lassner.

It's not just the kids getting noticed! Just last week, the NJ Tech council honored Rocket Club’s Director Paulo Nunes with a STEM Innovator to Watch Awards after they took notice of his leadership at the Venture Conference.

Rocket Club is gearing up for the semester finale where the kids will participate in a Shark-Tank style competition to win a $10,000 seed investment to build their own company. The finalists will pitch their robotics business plan to three Forbes 30 Under 30 Founders!

How's that for a first semester?!

The RC kids are having such an amazing time and are moving up to their Level 2 semester this coming September. Level 2 introduces an entirely new and upgraded curriculum where the kids will focus on building prosthetic limbs, developing autonomous voice enabled kitchen devices and scaling their businesses. And you know what that means? It means that Rocket Club is ready for a new Level 1 group.

Due to the direct leadership style of the program, there are only 30 spots available each new semester, so we definitely recommend jumping at this one quickly! If you have children between the ages of 9 - 14 years by September, reach out to Rocket Club now to learn more!

All students and parents must set up a tour by contacting Rocket Club. Enrollment for September 2019 semester opens TODAY!
