Do you ever just wish you could relive the summer days of your childhood and go back to camp? I do, every single summer. I remember the cozy feel of the bunks, the smell of the woods, the feeling of jumping into the pool on the hottest days, and the most amazing friendships ever...I remember it all. Summers like that are made at camps like Deerkill Day Camp.
Entering its 62nd camp season, Deerkill Day Camp is a sleepaway camp experience – complete with adventure challenges, specialty sports, crafts, and swimming – just without the overnight part.
Located on 15 wooded acres, Deerkill offers the best of both worlds with onsite heated pools, adventure climbing, athletic fields, theaters, craft & woodworking spaces, archery, and ziplines. There is SO much for your kids to explore with options for children ages 4 through 14.
Deerkill Day Camp is located in Suffern NY, about 30 miles from Hoboken and just over the NJ/NY state line. There is daily transportation provided on mini air-conditioned buses, picking up and dropping off to 8 different locations within Hoboken, Jersey City, & Weehawken. Each bus is staffed with professional drivers and Deerkill bus counselors, getting your campers to and from camp with both safety and style.
Deerkill is a third generation family-owned camp which has served Hoboken families for over 10 years. Each of the directors staff the camp grounds daily and are proudly accessible for phone calls both day and night. The group leaders are all adults, many of whom are teachers.
