LH Spotlight: Freshly Moms

Your newborn is here! Friends and family are dropping by and calling, asking how baby is eating, sleeping, and pooping. You are up to your eyeballs in swaddles and bottles and blankets. You love your baby more than anything, of course...but you need a little TLC too! Enter Freshly Moms. This new, innovative meal, snack, and tea delivery service takes the guesswork out of postpartum nutrition. Using Ayurvedic wisdom, founder Shruti Mishra, has developed delicious creations to help new moms recover from childbirth, promote lactation, and replenish vital nutrients. Shruti is a mom, certified nutritionist, and chef. Freshly Moms also has a board certified Ayurvedic practitioner and a midwife/childbirth educator on their advisory team. Talk about a new mom’s dream team! There are three plans available.

The “Munch Right” snack plan includes a week's worth of yummy and satisfying snacks designed to aide in digestion and lactation.

The “Munch and Eat” plan includes snacks AND one filling meal per day.

The “Munch, Eat, & Sip” includes all of the "Munch and Eat" plus two teas, one herbal latte, and one lactation/digestion drinking water mix. Shruti recommends moms start with at least six weeks for optimal benefits. We sampled the “Munch Right” box and were blown away by the variety! It’s hard to choose a favorite, but the ingredients and taste of the lactation granola can’t be beat and is a great on-the-go snack for a busy mama! Shruti and her team have tapped into an often overlooked need - care for mom! There are sleep consultants, lactation consultants, nannies, and night nurses - but often, we overlook the needs of a postpartum mama. This is a great gift for the new mom in your life, or something special to give to yourself after childbirth.
