In honor of Autism Awareness Month in April and the 1 in 68 diagnosed with autism today in the United States, The Hoboken Special Needs Parents Group and KFM Making a Difference Scholarship Program are proud to be joining forces to host a fundraising event at Willie McBride's in Hoboken. A portion of the proceeds from this event will go to provide scholarships for students with autism to attend college via the nonprofit KFM Making A Difference. We are working closely with our Hoboken School District to help our local students benefit from this program! This organization has awarded over 50 scholarships in just 6 years, awarded 3 times per year. KFM is run by Kerry Magro, a professional speaker who is an adult on the autism spectrum!
If you’d like to be a part of making a difference with us, please join this night of fun from 8-11pm on Saturday, April 7th. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased here. Tickets are $50 and not only will your purchase help enrich the lives of young adults seeking higher education, it will also give you access to a 3 hour open bar featuring domestic drafts, wine, soda, and house mixed drinks, plus a selection of light fare.
RSVP by purchasing a ticket no later than March 31st.
If you are unable to attend this event but would like to make a donation, you can do so by visiting the Eventbrite page and clicking “Tickets”.
