Whenever I go to the drugstore, I always manage to mosey on over to the beauty aisles, peruse for way longer than I intend to, and spend nearly three times what I should on random beauty products. I'll run in for a greeting card and before I know it, 30 minutes have passed and my basket consists of that one greeting card I initially ran in for plus a few eyeliners, face wipes, and one too many lip glosses. Over the years, my makeup and beauty collection has grown to consist of drugstore basics as part of my daily routine mixed in with some higher-end products.
My drugstore go-tos are usually lipsticks and glosses (give me all the NYX!!), eyeliners, testing out seasonal trends (colored eyeliner, metallic eyeshadows, etc.), and trying new products outside my current makeup routine (BB/CC creams, full coverage foundation, etc.) that I’m not ready to splurge on just yet. See below for my faves:

Neutrogena Makeup Remover Cleansing Wipes - for all those nights you’re too tired to wash your makeup off
Aquaphor – mine doubles as an eye and lip cream at night
Physicians Formula Organic Wear CC Cream with SPF20 – great for when you’re on-the-go but need a little something on your face
L’oreal Sublime Bronze – mix it with your moisturizer to dilute the color a bit for a more even, less streaky tan
L’oreal Voluminous Mascara in Carbon Black
Duo Lash Glue in the dark tone
NYX Matte Lip Cream – I’m obsessed with NYX lipsticks! I love the shades: Stockholm, Tres Leches and Milan
Revlon Colorburst Lip Crayons – great colors and super moisturizing
Flower Cheek & Lip Chubby - I have this in the shade ‘Apricot a lot,’ and I love it! It really works great for both cheeks and lips and the color is perfect
L’oreal Infallable Pro-Mist & Fix Spray – I never leave home without spritzing my face with a finishing spray after applying makeup and this works great!
CoverGirl Roses TruNaked Eyeshadow Palette – love all the colors in this palette.
