LH Spotlight: Romparoo

This post is sponsored by Romparoo, all opinions are our own.

Romparoo is a space for kids 0-5 to learn, play, and have fun. We sent one local mom to Romparoo to try it out!

I went to a class at Romparoo called 'Toddler Madness' and it's exactly what it sounds like - toddlers exploring everything everywhere! While the class can range from 1-3 year olds, this class ranged from 14-18 months olds.

The class flow was fast with seven activities happening within 45 minutes. It starts with open play where the kids get to explore the room from the sensory bins to the climbing area. After a good run around, we sat in a circle to sing hello, warm-up and play musical instruments.

Next, we transitioned into playing with different size, color and textured balls. This was a huge hit because it coincided with bubbles and who doesn't love bubbles! Some of the kids were sad to see the balls go, but they loved what happened next - the colorful parachute! They sat in the middle of it while the adults danced around them and jumped around underneath for a fun twist. The last activity before story time was sensory play using puzzles and peg pieces. This was a favorite by all the kids in the class because of all the colors and textures.

It was a jam-packed class, but there was something for everyone!

Romparoo has great activities that address all areas of a childs development from infants to kindergarten. Check out a class or open play everyday from 12-3 (and coming soon Saturdays!).

Julie stay-at-home mom to an energetic 14 month old girl, Amelia and a 2 1/2 year old fur-baby, Pepper. She moved to Hoboken in 2005 and loves to enjoy all things related to travel, running and cooking with her husband, Trevor.
