As you know, I am a speech-language pathologist. I have worked in a variety of different settings with a variety of different cases and am always happy to give advice whenever anyone needs it. I love when you guys reach out with speech & language questions, feeding questions and behavior questions. I love that I am able to help other parents and point them in the right direction.
With the rapid success and growth of Little Hoboken, and my per-diem work at a local hospital, I have not been able to take on additional private clients. So, I needed a place to point you all to, and that place is Advanced Therapy of America. This practice is owned by a fellow SLP, and offers both speech therapy and occupational therapy with a broad scope of specialties. I sat down with Maria, owner & founder of ATA, to discuss our philosophies, therapy styles and practices. If I am going to refer you all somewhere, you better believe I am going to make sure they are good! I instantly loved Maria, her staff and her office. We share a lot of the same beliefs, and as a mother, I felt that I would totally entrust her with my own child's care. (Eliza was at the meeting too, and Maria was incredible with her!)
Advanced Therapy of America offers feeding/swallowing, speech-language, sensory integration, early intervention, social skills, and so much more. The office is located downtown on Hudson Street with easy stroller & wheelchair access. They host several free parent-information sessions a year, and are able to accommodate daytime and after-school appointments.
I will always take your questions and give you as much information as I can- so keep sending them in!! But if you need more, please do not hesitate to contact ATA. To learn more about ATA visit their website or give them a call! Tell them Cassie sent you!
