LH Spotlight: Hoboken Integrated Healthcare

When I was pregnant, I developed an acupuncture.

To me, acupuncture was the most wonderfully relaxing and helpful form of medicine. I was skeptical at first, but throughout my fertility treatment, the IVF process and my pregnancy, I found myself hopelessly addicted to this practice.

Acupuncture relaxed me, it calmed me, it helped relieve my morning sickness, my pregnancy mood swings and even my back pain. It was wonderful.

I have told so many of my friends about acupuncture and so many look at me like I am a crazy person. I get it! I don't really like needles either, but I swear, you don't feel it!!

I wanted to share my joy of acupuncture and see if another mama would find it as relaxing as I do. So, we sent local mom, Raina-Rose to Hoboken Integrated Healthcare. Raina is a mom of two, and was looking for some much needed stress relief. She was teamed up with acupuncturist Virginia, for an hour long session. As Raina described it, "I didn't feel the needles go in, and 45 min later I had a nice nap and felt so relaxed and refreshed".
