Chances are, if you live in Hoboken, you find yourself explaining your location to anyone who lives outside the area. "Yes it's NJ, but I can SEE Manhattan."

Hoboken doesn't really get the credit it deserves. Sure, its JERSEY, but we are closer to NYC than most towns & cities in the great state of New York. Our commute is a fraction of the time and we get the best view of the best city in the world.

Did you know that over 50% of Hoboken's working population commutes into NYC daily? We have buses, and trains, and boats (oh my!) that make the daily commute easy for anyone. Our city's population has grown by over 3,000 in the last five years and that number is only expected to keep growing. Most of those moving here are doing so because they get to enjoy life with green space and larger apartments, yet still have many of the same convieniences of living in the big city.

We may live in the Dirty Jerz, but we are as much as part of the NYC lifestyle and culture as any other borough. We are truly the sixth borough of NYC, so lets declare it. We at Little Hoboken, hereby declare our amazing, hardworking and NYC-loving Hoboken moms the moms of the sixth borough.
